Pricing changes effective September 1, 2018


Over the last year we have received important feedback on our pricing from customers. To allow the feedback to be incorporated into the new pricing plans we have delayed the launch making the new pricing effective until September 1, 2018.

What’s changed?

The key changes to our pricing plans are:

  • Higher thresholds for guest and visitor sign-ins on all plans.
  • An unlimited plan (great for those who don’t want to be restricted by thresholds and something many of our customers have asked for).
  • A free Push Notification service for our mobile app WolMobile to reduce reliance on and the cost of SMS for visitor notifications. This in some instance will save you hundreds of dollars each year. Push Notifications will be released on September 1, 2018.

When does this pricing come into effect?

All new locations added to your subscription from September 1, 2018 will go onto the new pricing plans.
Existing active paid plans at August 31, 2018 will be grandfathered on existing pricing until December 31, 2019.

Do I need to wait until December 31, 2019 to migrate to a new plan?

No. Please contact support@whosonlocation.com and they can work with you to make these changes.

Can I add new locations to my account prior to August 31, 2018 to receive the existing pricing?

Yes. You can do this through your WhosOnLocation account or our Customer Support Team can help.

I’d like to change my plan, is this possible?

Certainly. Please contact accounts@whosonlocation.com.

What does this mean for my Starter plan?

No change to what we announced in August, 2017, unless you are exceeding the limits of the plan.

What were the changes made to Starter?

In August, 2017 we removed the Starter plan from sale and grandfathered all customers on this plan for the term of the plan, unless the plan limits are exceeded.

Will the terms of use change?

Yes. There will be some small changes to the terms of use, mainly around SMS charges. Check back soon for more information.
